Frank Romano
Frank Romano, President of the Museum of Printing, has spent over 60 years in the printing and publishing industries. He was publisher and editor of TypeWorld and Electronic Publishing magazine, and he is the author of many articles and books on printing, publishing, and graphic design, including books on QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, PDF workflow, and digital printing. A recognized authority on the history and evolution of type design, technology, and printing, he has lectured extensively at many universities and has taught at RIT (where he is Professor Emeritus).

About the Museum of Printing
The Museum of Printing is dedicated to preserving the rich history of the graphic arts, printing and typesetting technology, and printing craftsmanship. In addition to many special collections and small exhibits, the Museum contains hundreds of antique printing, typesetting, and bindery machines, as well as a library of books and printing-related documents.
The Museum’s building contains a store, several galleries, two libraries, and meeting and workshop areas. The Main Gallery contains printing presses of all kinds. There are also two art galleries with rotating exhibits. The Museum is located at 15 Thornton Ave., Haverhill, Massachusetts. Learn more.
